Thanks for all of the great suggestions! We adopted three cats in May and have no idea how to handle the christmas tree this year. I told my husband we have to get an artificial tree. Do you have a link to the one you have? It looks great! We will definitely have to try making the stand!

You’re welcome and congrats on your new fur babies! The source for ours is on the Living Room Sources page, but honestly most any one would do. The only thing you need to watch out for is that some lower quality artificial trees sometimes shed a tinsel-like material that can be dangerous to cats so be sure that the type you get doesn’t do that.
