We recently purchased 35 acres and are designing our home currently! I am curious about your pantry dimensions, and are you happy with the cabinet doors at the top?

Our pantry is about 90sf and we’re happy with it’s layout however I would strongly advise figuring out what works best for you based on your own cooking/baking strategies as those are pretty personal so what works for us might not necessarily work for you. We’re also very tall so high cupboards make sense for us.

Ok I can see that it is which is what I was considering doing also. Are you pleased with it being in that location? Is it handy even though you are walking to the pantry?

Yes it’s in our pantry. We’re happy with it here as we rarely use it. Its most common use for us is heating tea water. Other than that, we only use it a couple times per week at most.

We sized everything custom to our needs so we just figured out the sizes that worked for us and built them. Honestly I don’t remember all the exact dimensions offhand.

There’s a whole other side to our pantry that I just don’t really post since it’s more of the same. It also has a second fridge and dock station for our roomba.

Beautiful! I was wondering if you made your pantry cabinets or whether you purchased them. I’m trying to find something similar with three drawers but haven’t had any luck. Where did you purchase them if bought?

    Thank you!

It just became more functional for us right now. We actually kept the low roll out boxes, just put fronts on the drawers so we might even decide to switch back to them one day.

I am in love with your style. You are quite talented! I’m going back through my pins and finding so many are from your builds. We are starting to build cabinets of our own in our own movie room, do you have a tutorial on cabinet building that I am not seeing? Thank you for sharing all of your amazing work!

How do you store canned goods in your pantry or odds and’s items such as chips etc

      December 19, 2021 at 3:13 pm

Canned goods are in the tall closed cabinets (kitchen – they all have roll-out drawer in them for easy access) and/or lower drawers (pantry). Chips and such in the upper closet cabinets (pantry)

Hi, you have created a beautiful home! Do you have a sink in your pantry? If not, are you fine without it? We are contemplating whether or not we need a sink in our pantry as we are putting our small appliances and a baking station in there.

Thank you for all of your inspiring ideas!

We don’t and it was an intentional choice for us but I think it’s really personal preference as to whether you want one or not!

Whenever I say “similar” next to a source, it’s because the original item is no longer available.
